I have noticed that Sri Lanka has emerged as a very powerful team in a decades time. At one time they used to be equated with Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe have not managed the same success of Sri Lanka, What do you think are some of the reasons for Sri Lankas sterling performance in world cricket these days?
All answers from all countries will be appreciated.

So you see most of those occasions Sri lanka played with their full strength with Vaas Murali and other star players. But still Pakistan got better of us. Can you state any reason for that? What is the reason?

Chasing 269 to win Sri Lanka lost the wicket of Jeewan Mendis after a fine partnership with Mathews when the score was on 233 in the 47th over. Then we lost Kulasekara and Randiv was run out as the 8th wicket for 246 in 47:5 overs. Randiv’s run out was pretty much the final nail to the coffin!
So England were just about to win the tournament 3:2 !

According to my knowledge this song is something you sing when someone was fired or embarrassed or booed out of an arena! I am not very sure about that though.

Yes England won this ODI tournament 3:2 but it was a close tournament and could have gone either way.
Sri Lanka defeated them 5:0 last time in England though.
