  baseball=round ball on round bat cricket=round ball on FLAT bat technically it is harder to hit a round object with another round object AND have controll over it. Having played cricket for Aust. and baseball in the states believe me they are 2 totally different "BALL GAMES"

  @dev1on there are lots of idiots on youtube who compare the two different sport because you hit a ball with a bat in both. Other than than there are no similarities whatsoever. Cricket is a sport that takes much more skill than baseball. It would be like comparing soccer and NFL because there is a ball that gets kicked in both sports

  @dev1on Baseball is a poor mans Cricket my friend. A few points 1) The ball isnt thrown, like baseball - the arm must not bend when the ball is bowled. 2) There is far more precision than baseball. Bowler has to carefully select speed,spin, depth and height/bounce to trick the batsman. In baseball, they just chuck it as hard as possible at a small area. 3) In cricket, the players dont need gloves to catch a ball (even though it is going as fast).
