Answers to:
Why World cup 2007 is criticised for its format after the early exit of india and pakistan ?
This was the information from wikipedia "World Cup was also criticized
for its format, with India and
Pakistan failing to move on from
the group stage after losing two
matches. This led to Ireland and
Bangladesh entering the long
Super Eights stage and
consistently being defeated (bar
another upset by Bangladesh
over South Africa). The
elimination of India and Pakistan
also caused a large exodus of
subcontinental fans from the
Caribbean, and removed the
prospect of an India vs Pakistan
Super Eights match, generally
considered one of the most
revenue generating and electric
matches in the tournament.
The BCCI later claimed it would
see to it that the ICC will alter its
World Cup format for the 2011
Cricket World Cup" but why it is criticised because the group is arranged correctly with 2 strong team and two weak team still why it widely criticised for its format

The best of Cricket is when these two team play INDIA VS PAKISTAN.
And when these two team exit early.

Whats ur opinion 'pakistan team is build for 2020 'eventhough their performance is poor in other format?
Pakistan get into final in first 2020 world cup then wins the next 2020 now they went upto semi in the previous 2020.they are the most unstabilised team in modern cricket other than zimbabwe bangladesh and kenya . Still reaching top in 2020 worldcup. Also even zimbabwe beats australia in that format.2020 format is not good enough in calculating the strength of any team . Them why this icci is running a world cup for that bad format .

For me as an Indian team supporter it's the 2003 WC final and 2007 early exit from the tournament
.
SA is my favourite team, so as a SouthAfrican fan it's the 1992,1999 and 2003 WC matches that SA got eliminated that still disappoints me whenever I remember them.

Date : 2010-12-23 06:20:15Who Would Win The Upcoming World T20 ? Pak Won't Win This--Proof?
Guys, I am done with my calculations, and I am sorry to say that Pakistan won't be able to win the upcoming T20 World Cup, because its now Sri Lanka's turn to win the T20 World Cup.
My basis for this conclusion is as follows:
To win a T20 World Cup, a team should have lost the final of a 50 over World Cup to Australia in the same country in which T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place. The following examples prove this theorem:
India won the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa because they had lost the final of a 50 over World Cup to Australia in South Africa in 2003.
Pakistan won the 2009 T20 World Cup in England because they had lost the final of a 50 over World Cup to Australia in England in 1999.
Its Sri Lanka's turn now to win the upcoming T20 World Cup in West Indies, because they have lost the final of a 50 over World Cup to Australia in West Indies in 2007.
Have a look from another angle:
2007
India and Pakistan
India wins
2009
Pakistan and Sri Lanka
India kicked out in group stage
Pakistan win
2010
Sri Lanka and -------------
Sri Lanka win
Pakistan kicked out in group stage.
Congratulations to Team Sri Lanka on winning the 2010 T20 World Cup.
NOTE: I know that quite a few members in this section would be outraged after seeing this post of mine, but my humble request to them again is: "Don't take it seriously. Keep your cool. Take it lightly." Support your country LIKE my heart IS SUPPORTING PAKISTAN!!
