  Im an allblack fan and watched england knocked out of the FIFA world cup after all the hype and millions of dollars spent on this team and maybe though we werent the only chokers in sport. Your candidates are
  
  1. The England football team that hasnt won the world cup since 1966. The last final they have been in was in 1966. They have so much hype and expectation for them to win despite the talent yet they have failed to reach a final since 1966
  
  2. Allblacks not winning a world cup since the first one in 1987 (or some dont count that) despite being the most dominant team during world cups. (1999, 2003, 2007 chokes in crucial games)
  
  3. South African cricket team-they have consistent have had the best or one of the best teams in one day cricket for years but have never reached a final. They choked bad against australia in the 99 world cup semi final against australia and still havent won a 20/20 world cup final. They have still yet to win any global cricket tournament despite thier talent.

  1. Golf - US Open 2008 - An injured Tiger Woods birdies the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Rocco Mediate. After 18 holes, both players are still tied. Tiger Woods finally wins on the first hole of sudden death.
  
  2. Tennis - Wimbledon Final 2008 - Nadal outlasts Federer in a dramatic 5 set match 6-4 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 6-7 (8-10) 9-7 to win his first Wimbledon title.
  
  3. Soccer - UEFA Champions League Final 2005 - Liverpool come back from 0-3 down to win in a penalty shootout against AC Milan.
  
  4. Cricket - World Cup Semi-Final 1999 - Australia go through to the final after a dramatic last-ball run-out means the game against South Africa results in a tie. Australia progress as they have the superior net run-rate.

• Do you think cricket world cup 2011 has an appropriate theme song?

  I personally think "de ghuma ke" is nothing compared to "Waka waka" or any theme song of a major sporting event. Frankly, hindi is not an international language :P .If it goes like this than cricket will never grow.
  @babaraisingh - Songs like waka waka and wavin flags made the football world cup so special to me.
  They add to the feeling tremendously and they matter a lot.
