  Download link here: filebent.com The 1992 World Cup cricket (Benson & Hedges World Cup) marked the beginning of a new revolution in the limited over games with all the teams playing with colored Jerseys and white balls and the tournament was hosted by Australia and New Zealand. South Africa played its first World Cup as they were introduced to International cricket after a gap of long years due to apartheid and other political issues. A total of 9 teams participated in the 1992 event and as with the previous world cup tournaments, there were no different groups. All the 9 teams had to face each other in the league matches and the best 4 out of the 9 teams qualified for the semi finals. This World Cup was the last one for some of the cricketing greats such as Graham Gooch, Allan Border, Kapil Dev, Imran Khan, Martin Crowe etc. Similarly the 1992 cricket world cup was the gate way for some of the future cricketing greats such as Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Inzamam Ul Haq, Sanath Jayasurya etc. South Africa was one of the forces to reckon with as they had a strong team composition. Defending champions Australia were somewhat colorless and failed to impress as per the expected level. India had a bad outing except for their matches against Pakistan and Zimbabwe. Pakistan also had a great struggle in the initial stages, but luck was with them and they managed to reach the semi finals.
