Amongst all the Cricket World Cups you watched before, which was the most exciting one in your opinion?

In my opinion, I have watched WCs 1996, 1999 and 2003. Amongst these three, I really enjoyed watching the 1999 World Cup. England were amazing hosts, also it was very competitive with all teams playing to their best & we could never feel sure until the final, as to who will win the cup. My dad, however feels that the 1983 World Cup was the most exciting.

Why are useless teams allowed to take part in cricket world cup?
Teams like netherlands, canada, ireland, kenya, bangladesh are playing in WC 2011. It is very obvious they will be washed away swiftly in the first round itself. There is no significance or sense. They don't know how to play cricket and have no background whatsoever. In recent world cups this has been a trend. Bermuda, Namibia, also played in recent world cups, and they were a joke. What is the point of seeing a one-sided match with these teams? Its just waste of time and makes world cup boring. The WC should be restricted to the original 9 countries (bangladesh not counted) or a new team entering WC must know how to play. If ICC thinks it makes world cup more exciting by adding such teams, then they are dreaming
i'm glad in 2015 world cup no such teams are allowed and the WC 2015 is only restricted to test playing nations. Its too bad, ICC's eyes didn't open fast enough to realize such teams are tournament killers

First the great ODI between NZ and Aus then the thriller of WI vs Zim. 15 needed off the last over, a 6 and 4 and 1 off the first 3 balls and then two wickets leaving 4 runs and 1 wicket remaining off the last ball, Zimbabwe winning by 2 runs. And people say 50 over cricket isn't as exciting as T20.
and for one involving the team of the first answerer, there was the recent nz vs pak ODI where Pakistan put on a 101 run 10th wicket partnership only to fall a few runs short of New Zealands total. There have been some outstanding ODI in the last few months.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited former pacers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Sarfaraz Nawaz to supervise a specialised fast bowler's camp to be held in Lahore from October 8.
A senior official of the PCB confirmed that the chairman Ejaz Butt had given the clearance for the camp to be set up under the watchful eyes of former pacer and a senior coach at the National Cricket Academy Aaqib Javed.
Aaqib was looking forward to the camp as it could throw up some exciting young talents.
